LeveX now supports Passkeys as a method for two-factor authentication. Passkeys provide a password-free login experience, eliminating the need for authentication codes. This is the most secure way to protect your account, allowing you to log in using biometrics.
Notes:
- The passkey feature is currently available only on LeveX app version 2.6.0 or higher, with iOS 16 or higher and Android OS 9 or higher devices.
- You can add a passkey using your iCloud Keychain, a USB security key, your phone’s screen lock or PIN, or another device (e.g., another mobile phone).
- To add a Passkey on the LeveX website, we recommend using Chrome or Safari (preferably the latest version).
For Website
- Log in to your LeveX account and navigate to “Profile > Settings & Security” in the upper-right corner. In the Security Center, find “Passkeys”
- Select 'Enable Passkeys' and complete the security verification. After that, select Continue
- Choose one of the following methods to create your passkey:
a. Create with Google Password Manager:
Click 'Create' and complete PIN code on your device.
B. iCloud Keychain
Click “Save another way” > iCloud Keychain, and complete the iCloud biometric authentication
C. Use a phone, table or security key
Click “Save another way” > Use a phone, table or security key, then scan the QR code using your mobile device or tablet’s native QR code scanner and complete the authentication on your device.
Login with Passkey Verification
You’ll be prompted to sign in with biometrics using Passkey. For example, you can use Touch ID on your Mac to verify your identity.
Alternatively, you can cancel and go back to using a password to sign in.
